Changes to our team as we welcome Molly and say thanks to Ben

By Questa

The Questa team has seen a couple of changes as the year draws to a close.

We’re excited to welcome Molly Clayton to the team following the completion of her degree in Mathematics at Leeds University. She is already settling in well, and is undertaking her examinations within the financial services arena with plans to become a paraplanner, before eventually progressing onto an advisor role.

Starting a new position amidst coronavirus restrictions is not the norm, but Molly has adapted to the challenge well. In her own words; “It has certainly been an unusual time to start a new job, but I am loving being here and it has definitely been one of the best things to come out of 2020 for me.”

“Although there have been some challenges from starting during the current pandemic, there are always positives to balance out any negatives. For my first few weeks I was working remotely from home, which meant I was unable to meet the team properly. However, it gave me the opportunity to focus on studying for my first exam which was incredibly useful. Whilst being in the office during lockdown there are significant differences to how it operates compared to more ‘normal’ times, but it is impressive to see how Questa has dealt with and overcome these obstacles.

With this in mind, I have benefited in ways from the current situation but I am also very excited for the future and a post-pandemic experience here.”

We’re excited too, and can’t wait to see Molly grow with us.

We also wave goodbye and wish the very best to Ben Saunders, who has moved on to new pastures as he relocates to Manchester. We’re happy to see that he has found a new role elsewhere as an Administrator. Speaking to him on his first day in his new job he was already finding his feet, despite the lockdown meaning he had to work from home from day one.

Ben was kind enough to say “I certainly wasn’t on my own as I moved into my new role. Everyone at Questa was really helpful, Dina and Stuart really supported me through the process.”

We wish Ben all the best in his future endeavours, and look forward to having Molly progress as part of the team.
