To achieve the qualification, the former Lytham High School student had to demonstrate technical knowledge and skills for advising on retail investments, meeting the Financial Conduct Authority’s requirements for retail investment advisers.

Trainee Financial Planner Yasmin said:

“I’m pleased to pass another industry qualification. Each exam is a real test. A lot of hard work is involved, as my colleagues know only too well. But we all know how professional development can make a real difference to the level of support we give our clients. It’s a great team here at Questa. We all help each other, which makes a real difference.”

Financial Planning Qualifications

The continued success highlights Questa’s commitment to staff professional development and the expertise of their financial planners. 10 Questa colleagues hold similar industry qualifications to the same level as Yasmin or higher.

Questa’s financial planners’ qualifications help them too. The company focuses on good value for money, a clear and transparent fee structure, and a passion for helping clients.

Questa’s emphasis on professional development and a focus on growing the practice has helped position the Fylde coast-based firm as one of the largest practices in the region, attracting clients from across the United Kingdom.

Anthony Hoskisson, Questa managing director, said:

“We’re building our business on a simple promise: to help clients get the most out of life through sound financial planning. That’s why we prioritise professional development. It allows us to translate complex financial information into practical, real-life scenarios. We are pleased that so many of the Questa team buy into that; and work hard to maintain and improve their knowledge, skills and specialities.

“Yasmin is a great example. She should be incredibly proud of her qualifications. Her record of seven first-time passes in her industry exams tells its own story. Yasmin is a wonderful example to any young person seeking a career in financial advice and wealth management.”

The RQF Level 4 Diploma covers six core areas: financial services, regulation and ethics, investment principles and risk, personal taxation, pensions and retirement planning, financial protection, and financial planning practice.
