Lily Passes Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice

By Questa Chartered

Questa client support adviser Lily Hoskisson has successfully completed her Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP).

CeMAP is the industry-standard qualification for mortgage advisers in the UK. It is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulations, the house-buying process, and the diverse range of mortgage products available.

This certificate means Lily now has the knowledge and skills to offer expert mortgage advice. She also has a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape of the UK mortgage sector to help with Questa clients’ personal financial planning needs.

Lily Hoskisson said: “The CeMAP journey has been hard work but fun. I’ve learned so much, and it has fuelled my curiosity to learn even more about the mortgage process. For now, I can’t wait to help even more Questa clients make informed financial decisions about their house purchases.”

The CeMAP qualification was delivered by The London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF). It comprised seven compulsory units across three modules.

Now qualified, Lily wants to help further develop within the mortgage offering at Questa, enhance her client portfolio and continue with financial planning professional development.

Lily adds: “House ownership is an important financial decision. For many of us, it is the single biggest financial commitment we’ll ever make. That’s why it is so important to make the right move. Everything I have learned through the CeMAP process will help me bring even more value in my one-to-one client consultations.”
