Suzanne Waring Interview: “A Breath of Fresh Air!”

By Questa

The Helping Hands Group has been cleaning and maintaining domestic and commercial properties for 25 years.  Suzanne Waring started with a mop and a bucket 25 years ago and has built her (almost!) 40-strong team into one of the region’s most trusted high-quality cleaning businesses.

They provide a range of cleaning services for both commercial and domestic properties in Lancashire. Bespoke cleaning solutions include everything from regular house cleans to deep cleans and specialist services like carpet and oven cleaning. The business has expanded and now provides home help services too which can include laundry, ironing, and general property maintenance.

Their team is fully trained, supervised, and insured, ensuring a high level of trust and reliability for their clients. In fact, trust, care, and customer experience are at the heart of everything Helping Hands does, and they are happy only when they are happy. That’s why the business has been built on its famous 100% customer guarantee on all services.

Suzanne is a valued Questa client. In this interview, Suzanne reveals how Questa has helped her track a path to financial security.

Why did you choose Questa?

We had a financial advisor for years, but I thought it was time for a change. So, I said to my husband, Phil, “Let’s have a chat with Anthony.” I went to see him, still a bit on the fence, but when we sat down, what a revelation!

He’s like a breath of fresh air when it comes to looking at investments and finances. He made it all sound exciting, not boring.

Now, we’re in the process of exploring options, and I haven’t got to the end yet, but the whole experience has been eye-opening. The people who work with Anthony are a credit to him and his business. I’m happy to be doing some work with him.

Choosing the right financial planner is a big decision, isn’t it?

Massive. Absolutely massive, especially with the new Government and everything they’re doing. I’ll be very interested to hear what Anthony thinks when we get the budget. That will help us make some decisions.

What have been your biggest challenges with finance?

I’m very fortunate. I’m touching wood as I say this, but up to now, I haven’t had any challenges with finances. I haven’t needed a financial advisor to get me out of a sticky situation. It’s more about planning for the future when I’m not working anymore or choosing not to work. How will that look, and what will the finances be like then?

What would you say to anyone considering a new financial planner?

Book in and go see Anthony. Genuinely. Book in with Anthony Hoskisson. See what you think. I found him to be a breath of fresh air.
