Questa Backs Fylde Rugby Community Foundation

By Questa

Questa has become a corporate benefactor to the Fylde Rugby Community Foundation.

This partnership aims to advance the Foundation’s mission to enhance youth engagement in rugby and sports across Fylde, Wyre, and Blackpool.

The foundation provides free or subsidised programmes to schools while offering walking rugby to those over 50 so the older generation can keep active. There are also regular community holiday camps over school holidays, which are designed to improve the self-confidence, eye-to-hand coordination and social skills of young people.

Alongside their sporting activities, the foundation also offers clubs in some of the most deprived areas of the Fylde coast; these sessions include fun and engaging games and tag rugby.

Anthony Hoskisson, owner of Questa, said: “We are thrilled to support the Fylde Rugby Community Foundation. This collaboration is the perfect way for Questa to contribute to the community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact our support will have on the Foundation’s initiatives.”

Since its inception in September 2020, the Fylde Rugby Community Foundation has been pivotal in promoting rugby as a sport and a community culture. The Foundation’s Rugby Pathway Programme has been instrumental in engaging youth in the sport, providing opportunities for participants to be part of a rugby family.

Phill Mills, who leads the coaching at the Foundation, said: “Questa’s support will significantly contribute to expanding our programmes across the region. Not only does this partnership promote rugby as a sport, but it also allows us to build a stronger community.”

Regular digital updates on the Foundation’s work will be made available to Questa, allowing the company to keep abreast of the community projects it is supporting.

As a corporate benefactor, Questa will enjoy several advantages, including invitations to special upcoming events and matches organised by the Foundation. The firm will also be able to visit projects and meet beneficiaries directly. In addition, Questa’s name will be listed in the Foundation’s promotional materials, website, and social media channels.
