Young Professionals Launch New Fylde Networking Community

By Questa

Three young Fylde-based professionals have collaborated to establish a new networking community designed exclusively for young professionals.

Molly Clayton and Lily Hoskisson, both from Blackpool-based Questa, have teamed up with Jessica Bedford from Lytham-based Gadsden Coupe to create a dedicated space aimed at addressing common challenges faced by young professionals when building connections.

The initiative, called ‘The Green Network’, fosters collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth for individuals in their 20s and 30s within a peer-driven environment.

14 young Fylde professionals attended the first event at Biviano’s in Poulton le Fylde. More event details will be shared soon.

Molly Clayton said: “We recognised the need for a community where young professionals can support each other, share resources, and develop skills without the pressure of competing with more experienced industry members.

“Walking into a room of established professionals can be daunting and so we want to make our group a relaxed, welcoming environment where there is no pressure to put you out of your comfort zone.”

Molly, Lily and Jessica identified a gap in existing networks, where early-career professionals often struggle to find opportunities for meaningful engagement. This new community seeks to bridge that gap by providing a platform for members to connect through a blend of digital and in-person events, all tailored to their specific needs and schedules.

Jessica Bedford said: “As young professionals, we often feel isolated or unsure where to turn for guidance. This community gives us a chance to learn together and from one another, ensuring that no one feels left behind.”

The new community will officially launch next month, offering a series of workshops, networking events, and peer mentorship programmes aimed at helping young professionals navigate the early stages of their careers.
